Configuring a risk register

The risk register settings are reachable by clicking the link on the corresponding risk register page, or by clicking the gear icon on the risk register listing page. The page that opens depends on the type of risk register:

Project-based risk register

If the register sources its risks from a single project, this page is displayed:

Delete

Permanently deletes the risk register.

View

Opens the risk register page.

Register name

The name of the risk register. You can change this by overwriting the value in the text box.

Project

The name of the project the risk register is based on.

Select other project

Displays a project search text box. Selecting a new project replaces the existing project as the basis of the risk register.

Sub-filter

Allows you to further refine the risks that are included in your register. For example, you might only want to display risks with a status of "Unresolved."

Edit sub-filter

Opens the Jira advanced search screen, which you can use to define your sub-filter using the Jira Query Language (JQL).

Residual Risk View

Determines the default appearance of the Residual Risk column in the risk register view. If there is no level of residual risk set, the column can either display the same value as the inherent risk or a blank column.

Administrators

Those users who have permission to modify these settings. Site admins are automatically allowed to adjust this page.

Add administrator(s)

Enables you to add new administrators for this risk register.

Remove administrator(s)

If the register is based on multiple projects then this page is displayed:

Multi-project risk registers are a legacy feature that has been superseded by filter-based risk registers. You cannot edit this screen. If you select Convert, the system will create a filter for you that includes the required projects, and the register will be converted to a filter-based risk register (see above).
