Release Notes - Risk Register (cloud) - 8.0.0 - Apr 13, 2025

Summary

This release moves all of the administration features onto Atlassian’s Forge platform. We took the opportunity to give the admin area a design overhaul to make those functions more intuitive, and make their operation more consistent with each other.

Since this release includes a number of important changes to the app’s underlying function list and a few changes to the permissions that the app requires, it is classed as a major upgrade. In order to benefit from the changes in this release, upgrading to the latest release of the app will require the approval of a Jira administrator.

Here are some of the improvements in this release:

• The “Getting started” page has be reorganized into topic areas and now includes links to instructional videos

• The risk models list page and risk model edit page have been redesigned and polished.

• The terminology page now employs inline editing

• All administration features now save their changes in a consistent fashion

• The "Get support" page has been enhanced to provide more helpful information

• Most pages now cache data, facilitating quicker editing cycles

• Concurrent changes to risk models by different users are now managed more clearly

• Links from risk assessments to related risk models now go to specific risk model versions
